“Slumdog Millionaire” by Danny Boyle

Nominated for 10 Academy Awards incl. Best Movie and Best Director, I think Slumdog Millionaire deserves to take some of them home this weekend.

(don’t be fooled by this quite cheesy trailer..)

Energetic soundtrack.

MIA did some of it and is nominated for an Academy Award as well, I read this interview (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123327207710830899.html) on her involvement and more interestingly her past growing up.

There’s also an article (http://www.ledevoir.com/2009/02/20/234903.html) in Montreal’s Le Devoir newspaper on how the lead child actors were affected by the success of this movie.
